Recently Google has launched the Backup and Sync options for Mac and Windows. This has also merged the Google Drive and the Google Photos into one app which makes it easier for use and now both of them are under one app which is Google Backup and Sync.
Users keep their files in many places like their personal computer, SD cards, external hard disks, etc. but with the Backup and Sync option from Google one can easily store there important files and pictures at one place. It is simple, convenient and reliable. Users not only can sync their computers but also other devices like cameras, SD cards, etc. and store there files into the Google Drive and the photos and videos can be accessed from Google Photos.
For the business users those who are using Google G-Suite, the company has advised to wait for the release of new enterprise-focused solution known as Drive File Stream. This will have simple, educational, business, non-profit domains and is set to release by the end of this year.
Users are now able to operate more advanced options such as file handling and changing the download and upload rates. One can now upgrade their subscription of the Google Drive to get more storage space and backup more content into the cloud. Initially Google provides uses with 15GB of free storage space and then above that users have to subscribe to a plan. The monthly subscription charge costs rupees 130, 650, and 6500 for 100GB, 1TB, and 10TB of cloud space respectively.
