Your anticipation for the next generation iPhone is just about over, as Apple plans to launch its latest mobile device on September 12 this year. Almost a decade post its first smart phone launch, iPhone 8’s debut in the market will mark its 10th anniversary. If this prediction holds good then the novel device can be expected to be available for pre-ordering a few days (estimated around September 15th) from its estimated unveiling.
If you too are an Apple aficionado then reserve this date on your planner for a tech market sneak peak. A number of sources have confirmed the launch date, though the final official authentication is yet to come from the horse’s mouth. French site “Mac4Ever” has verified September 12 as the expected release date through the French Telecom Networks. “Digitimes” has also reported that the iPhone 8 will arrive as scheduled and has confirmed its mass production drive.
Subsequent to its opening windows for registering pre-orders, you can well expect to see the handset’s raring sale September 22 onwards. With its past record of launching high-end gizmos in the month of September, Apple seeks to challenge all smartphones foreseeing to schedule its telecom introduction after the Berlin IFA show. While the IFA hosts the trade show for consumer electronics and home appliances in Berlin scheduled from Sep 1st to Sep 6th, iPhone 8 will capture market attention with its preview by the following week itself, leaving little room for competitors to set their feet into this ground.
The eagle eyed device is rumoured to be equipped with some of the following highlighted specifications:
- Dimensions:5 x 71 x 7.5 mm
- Internal memory: 64/256 GB, 3 GB RAM
- Size:1 inches
- Type: Super AMOLED Captivated Touch Screen, 16 M colours
- Features: 1/3” sensor size, geo tagging, simultaneous 4K video and 8MP image recording, touch focus, face/smile detection, HDR (panorama/photo)
- USB:0 reversible connector, magnetic connector
- Sensors: Front mounted fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, barometer
- Browser: HTML5(Safari)
- Colours: Jet Black, Black, Silver, Gold, Rose Gold
Several analysts believe that iPhone 8 could face a crisis with its short supply and in such a situation; the Note 8 would be good enough to lure consumers. Samsung’s Note 8 device is equipped with the same dual camera system as expected in the Apple iPhone 8, awaiting its roaring entry. With Note 8’s anticipated display for demo during the IFA, it is most likely to fetch reviews, a week before the iPhone portfolio is exhibited.
Also nicknamed as the iPhone Pro, the handset’s pricing remains a mystery as much as its availability. Recent analysis by Forbes claims that the introductory price of this upgraded gadget could range from $1,100 – $1,200. Some sources claim that the production could get delayed with issues arising with the model’s Touch ID sensor. The hardware inside the device may not surprise you though. Fitted out with a wireless charging technology, an unusual vertical dual rear-facing camera and a curved display, this edition is rumoured to make its prominent launch in a trio packaged alongside iPhone 7S and iPhone 7S Plus.
If you are as excited and dreaming to grab the Apple off its shelf, be rest assured you will not have to wait too long. All your questions regarding its appearance, display, placement of Touch ID will soon be unmasked by early September.
