PM Modi has addressed the whole nation on the special occasion of 71st Independence Day. His vision for young India has been delivered in the speech and aims to create a new India by 2022. His definition of new India is nothing but to create equal rights and justice along with providing all the under privileged families including the slums with a house built by cement (Pucca house) and power supply without any major fail. In this new India, farmers are supposed to earn twice than they are earning right now. The new India does not need to face the fear of terrorism, casteism and communal divide. India for sure needs to get free from the two major issues that society is facing – corruption and nepotism.
Further, Prime Minister made a new announcement by launching a website in the honor of gallantry award winners. Going to the details of normal situations and reactions of normal public, Modi has asked everyone to contribute in making of new India and change the attitude of chalta hai to badal sakta hai. Modi further quoted the pre-independence slogan used way back in 1947, being bharat chodo (Quit India) with bharat jodo(Knit India), pointing a greater path which is more inclusive rather that the path traversed so far.
PM Modi has gone through briefly about the past one year actions that were taken by his government, his step towards demonetization which was announced on 8th November, 2016 was done to clearly favor the common man and over 3 lakh crore rupees have been collected in the bank after this move. This move has proved out to be a scanner for opposition as well as other entities that stored the black money.
PM Modi also said that GST launch has reduced the transportation cost by 30 percent. Talking about the employment issues Modi’s government is nurturing the youth in making them more of a job creator not the job seekers. He also spoke about the MUDRA scheme which helped in giving loan to more than 80 million people.
In his statements he has included the heartbreaking incident that happened recently in Gorakhpur which killed over 64 children due to the deficiency of oxygen. He named it the “natural disaster” in which we should stand with each other.
Modi in his speech clearly mentioned that violence in the name of faith is not acceptable. He pointed out that the aggression in the progress of Jammu Kashmir will take place soon.
Overall PM Modi elaborated on the work done by his government towards New India for which we are sure that the way he is dealing with the issues will surely help us in landing at a decent place in world ranking of development. Though some of our problems may not be sorted out immediately but for sure will find a way to deal with the challenges.
