  1. Manali to Leh trip

The beauty of road trip from Manali to Leh cannot be captured in words.The best road trip from Manali to Leh on a jeep or open bullet is very exciting. The distance is 479 kilometers and the first stop is at Manali. Travel through the mesmerizing Spiti valley, a deserted area in Himalayas. Go through Baralacha La to Ladakh and at last is Tanglang La, the second highest mountain pass in the world. Reaching Leh is difficult because the brutal journey might leave you completely exhausted but anyhow at the end it’s all worth it .Moreover, the road is open for about 5 months a year, mostly during summers and October.

See the beautiful colors of Rajasthan, Jaipur : the pink city and the desert of Jaisalmer. Drive to Jaisalmer along the RJ SH 19 route through Pushkar and check out the Amber Fort with a riot of colors. Head towards Udaipur and see the Lake Pichola and the Aravalli Hills that adds a scenic view. Then drive to Jodhpur and see the Mehrangarh Fort.

The driving distance from Bangalore, Silicon valley of India to Alappuzha, known for “houseboat cruises” is 625 kilometers. From Bangalore, drive to Salem then Coimbatore and then to Munnar, a beautiful hill station with highest tea gardens, waterfalls and then head towards Alappuzha for the backward experience on houseboats.

  1. Chennai to Kanyakumari trip, via Puducherry

Cover the stretch through East Coast Road of Chennai. En-route to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Mahabalipuram. Enchant the giant temples of Nataraja while travelling to Chidambaram from Puducherry. Watch the beautiful Sri Meenakshi Temple at Madurai. From here, head straight to Kanyakumari where the Arabian Sea, Indian Ocean and Bay of Bengal meet.

The stretch from Bangalore to Ooty, in the lap of Nilgiri Hills is 266 kilometres along the SH 17. The road between green leafy and wet asphalt is mesmerising and is well developed, wider and with good quality of traveler facilities on the way. There are plenty of small eateries in this route like Mc Donalds and Cafe Coffee Day etc. Stop at Mysore and enjoy this ancient city which is the home to the centuries-old Devaraja Market.

A new beach ‘New Digha’ is developed which is 2 kmilometres away from the old beach and the latest attraction of New Digha is the Science Centre.
